Welcome to my Little Island
The Thank you for taking the time to explore Little Island.
Little Island Apothecary was founded in January 2018, although I've been practicing for much longer. The word Apothecary means "one who dispenses medicine" and though it is now reserved for Pharmacists, we Herbalists still use it from time to time. My practice has expanded beyond Herbal Medicine, though that is still a big part of what I do. Post University training, I have trained in Phytotherapy (plant therapy), Spa Therapy, Weight and Personal Training, and Group Fitness Education.
I chose the name Little Island because I was born and raised on Vancouver Island (which is actually quite big), and because I recently explored some of the little islands in Indonesia on my honeymoon and was taken over by a sense of peace and inspiration. Islands just do that to me (sunshine and flowers help)! I hope I can bring you some of the gentle feeling of magic, uplifting energy, and sanctuary that little islands and herbal medicine bring to me. I am here to support, uplift, protect, encourage, and guide you to your best self. So are the herbs.
My services are available to those all around the world. Herbal formulas can be mailed to most places and online video chat has opened up a world of communication and different ways of training.
